Capt. Gill marries couple at sea - within state waters for legal reasons, as the couple
instructed. "I married this couple on board Savannah Lady in a beautiful ceremony while sailing to sea.
The couple called me ten years later to say they lost all the documentation and had no proof of marriage.
I sent the couple a signed statement as proof they were married aboard the Savannah Lady," Capt. Gill Says.
"One couple was not so lucky. The groom showed up late for the boat intoxicated. The bride and groom got

But this marriage was over before it started," Capt. Gill says.
